I'm Josh O'Hart. I've been a carpenter in Perth since 2005 — renovations, extensions, kitchens, structural work. I've seen what makes a job run well and what sends one sideways.
What kept bothering me was seeing owners sign contracts without anyone in their corner who actually knew building. So that's the job now: I walk through your place with you, explain it in plain English, and put it in writing. I don't sell building work and I don't take a cut of your renovation.
I'm not a registered builder or an architect, and I don't pretend to be — I'm the independent set of eyes you bring in before you commit to either.
If I ever connect you with a builder or trade, I'll tell you up front about any referral arrangement I have with them. Independence only works if it's transparent.
